Word Shutting down after I open same file

S

Susutea

Whenever I open one particular file in Microsoft word
it shuts down with an error asking me if I want to send
the error message to microsoft, then the program shuts
down. The file I am working on has two text boxes in
it and some drawing objects also. Is the file using up
too much memory ? My other Word files do not have
these "elements" in it, and so I do not have any problems
with my other word files, just this one. I have Pent 3
computer 600 mhz with 256k memory, I used windows xp
pro. Is this file using up too much memory ? Thankyou.

The document probably has a minor corruption. See if you can salvage it with
the open and repair option from the file open dialog (Word 2003).
