Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I'm copying a legal document which has double spaces between all the words. Is there some way I can make that happen automatically? Thanks.

Between words, not between sentences? Well, you could do a search
and replace, replacing each single space with two spaces.

Save yourself a lot of grief & aggravation... The number of spaces [mis]used
in a document has nothing to do with its legality... Your 'duplicate' is
exactly that, not an original. If you mean that you're retyping from a
printed copy you're better off typing it correctly or use a photocopier.

If it's actually a Word document or some other type of file to begin with
just copy/paste or use File> Save As.
