Word stacks typing

Matt

I'm not 100% sure how this problem came about, but when opening some
documents, the text gets stack up on top of each other where you can't read
anything. When you try to type something new, the cursor stays in the same
place and the text stacks on top of each other.

I'm not really sure how to duplicate the problem, as I myself have not had
it and the end user with this problem can't duplicate it either.

What I've tried;
I've treid searcing for NORMAL.DOT to no success.
I was also told to reinstall word. Which

A work around for this issue has been to type in notepad and copy it over to
word, and that does work. But obviously i'd like to figure out if there is
any other way to

Delete and reinstall the printer driver: make sure that you have the latest
available.
