word template newbie

HI there,
This is my first try at using a template. I am attempting to create a
tri-fold flyer. Downloaded a template from the MS site. I see that the
"logo" has cleate dots around it with a green dot tool to allow you to move
and rotate the logo.
I have a logo that I want to put in (it is saved as a pic). How do I get it
onto the page with within the movable tool?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Insert pic. just put it in the space, but does not surround it with the tool
to rotate the picture or allow you to move it.

Insert - picture should allow you to do that.
