Please give me some assistance in creation of a Word template. I need to
develop a form that has parts of the document protected by a password.
Other parts of the document need to be edited by other users. The modified
document will then be saved for other users to make additional modifications
to other non-protected fields.
It appears that "sections" need to be created in the template at the
beginning and end of the editable fields. Is this correct? Then it looks
like when the form is protected, sections are selected that are to be
protected. Some of the fields that I want to be editable are in the middle
of paragraphs. When I insert a section, I select "continuous". This
creates a new line, which I do not want between the text I want to edit and
the text that I want protected.
How do I protect the some of the document and make other parts of the
document editable, and still be able to keep the document in its original
form without adding additional line breaks?
Thank you for your assistance!
