I've recently upgraded Works 2002 to Student Teacher 2003, and am
experiencing problems opening saved Word files and closing Word. When
opening a file, the message reads, "'filename' not found". When closing
Word, a message appears "The file Normal already exists. Would you like to
replace it?" The save file dialog box that then appears shows two files
saved as templates, ~Normal and Normal. I've installed the service pack for
Word 2003, tried removing and reinstalling, removed most of Works 2002, and
nothing seems to fix this problem. Any advice appreciated.

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
