Word templates - text blocks and clickable forms

Good Morning.

My situation should be fairly simple to understand, but I'm not
getting it.

I work for a medical office. we have to fill in patient information
on 10-15 forms for various reasons.

right now, we have to type in the information on each of the forms
(word docs, locked to only allow form field edits).

Is there a way I can copy&paste a selection of text (example short
paragraph of contact info, etc) in to a text box on each form? or
make a Paragraph sized form?

You can type as much text as you like into a text form field. You can use
Ctrl+V or Edit | Paste (or, presumably, the toolbar buttons, which I don't
have) to paste into a text form field. You can also insert AutoText entries
into form fields in Word 2003 and earlier by typing the prompt and accepting
the ScreenTip (Insert | AutoText and F3 do not work to insert AutoText
entries).
