Word Templates

I downloaded templates from the Mircrosoft website that I was sent to from my
Microsoft Office 2007 program, but it says I don't have Microsoft Publisher
2002 or later. However I have Office 2007. Is there something else I should
be downloading?

If they are Publisher templates and you don't have Publisher you will not be
able to download them. Not all Office suites include Publisher. Can you download
Word templates?

Hello,

I am having the exact same problem. I am trying to download a Word template
and it tells me that I do not have Publisher 2007. I do have Publisher 2007
installed on my computer.

Did you ever solved the problem, and if so, how?

If it's a Word template, then Publisher has nothing to do with it. Could you
please tell us which template it is and exactly what the error message says?

Hello,

These are the steps which I follow:
Launch Word 2007 (part of my Professional Office 2007)
Click on Options
Click on Resources.
Click on Go On Line
Click on Templates tab and select Envelopes
Click on Business Envelope -six from the top- (6.5 x 3.625, Soft Blue Design)
Click on the Download button
Message appears: "You can not automatically download this template because
you do not have M.S. Publisher 2007 installed in your computer."

I DO have Publisher 2007 in my computer beacause I can actually launch it.
Where are templates just for Word 2007 stored in MS's website?

Thanks for your interest to help me.

Go straight to the Template web site instead of through Word. If you are trying
to open an envelope for Publisher from Word, it may not work.

Scroll down to the *Search for templates by product:* on the template page.
