Word themes and templates

I have this problem where when I open word the default
new document template has somehow been edited with
another form. Every time you click new you get this
document. I checked and this is the default "no theme"
template for word and I can't for the life of me edit
remove anything, I have uninstalled completely, restarted
and installed a different version. Help!!!!!
