Word to PDF conversion issues

G

GKK

We use Word 2003 in our company. There are two issues we (myself and boss)
face.
1. The Convert PDF icon is not visible. But ita ccepts to convert into a PDF
and stops the conversion in between. Printer icon gives a message "Document
Failed to Print".

2. I usually create a .ps file and then convert that into a PDF. works just
fine. But if there are cross-references, bookmarks, table of contents. They
do not get converted to the PDF. I tried the solutions offered in these
forums, like turning off options in General tab, or change settings in
PDF..etc.Nothin works. Let me know of a solution.

Thanks

You haven't said which PDF creation tool you use. If it is Acrobat then do
you have the correct version (or updates) for Word 2003. If you do then
repair the installation and check that in Word > Help > About Micriosoft
Word > Disabled Items has not disabled the add-in. You need the add-in to
achieve what you want with relation to links.
