Word tool bar Header is not showing at the top of the document

Hi,

Please, help.
I opened Microsoft word and the header is not showing on
the top of the document.

the tool bar is not there. It is only showing the document
by itself without any tool bar on the top of the document.

How can I reset the document to bring back the tool bar on
the top???

when I open word I can only see the rulers on the top and
left side and the document itself.
