When I click on "File", the drop down menu lists "New Works Template" about
50 times and I have to scroll and scroll until I get to the other commands.
Same with "Insert >> Picture" -- I get "Clip Art Collection" that seems to go
on forever. If I then scroll down too far, I get knocked out of the drop down
menu. I have worked out ways around it because I can't fugure out how to get
rid of the extra entries. Has anyone else run into this? What do I do? I
have Work 2002 and run Windows XP.

If you are running Word freestanding (not starting it from the Works Task
Launcher), you need to uninstall the Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word
(through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs). After you've done that, open
Tools | Customize and drag the excess menu entries off the menus.
