Word toolbars

How can I move Word toolbars to the left side of the screen (i.e. make
them vertical)? Thanks!

Hello Katherine,

See the little square area with 3 diagonal lines at the bottom right corner
of the toolbar? Drag this down and to the left and the toolbar will become
vertical.
