word trial

I, too, am having trouble with the trial expiring on my computer. I tried to put in the code that was on the label affixed to my computer, but it told me it was not a good number. I did not receive anything in my computer about Microsoft, except a CD that says, "Works 7.0 & Money 2004". Do I have to go out and buy a Word CD or is this the CD I should use? Thanks for helping this "computer illiterate" person.

If you used the software for it's trial period refer here
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/convert.msp
If it was pre-installed (OEM) by the manufacturer and does not work/activate on first use, you will have to contact hp/dell, best buy, etc... for information on how to correct the problem. Your support on the issue for Office products is their responsibility
