WORD TYPES ALL BY ITS SELF

I have just cleaned off the blaster virus and now my MS
Word types all by its self. It performs spell check also.
will do this on new document and when I load and get ready
to edit an existing document

any help appreciated

Do you have a microphone plugged into your PC?

There is no mic plugged in to the system.
It types on an on... AAAGGGHHH

It types what? Be a little more specific...does this problem happen in any
other program (Excel, Notepad, etc.)?

Do you have the language bar up? If so, you will see it at the top of
your desktop. Right click on it and choose to close the language bar.

Hi Neil,

Even if you don't have a microphone plugged in, you may have an
internal mic. Take a look under the Tools menu and make sure "Speech
Recognition" is not enabled.
