Word typing on its own

After typing a letter, Word will lock up and then just
start retyping the last line of text over and over again
copying it down the page. Cannot get out of program once
this happens.

Took computer in for analysis but problem still persists.

If you are using Word 2002 then it sounds like you have Speech
Recognition enabled. Take a look under the Tools menu to see if this
is the case.
