Word typing problem

Joe

I have been experiencing a worsening problem using WORD
in Micosoft office. I am using a laptop with Office
Professional XP. My problem is with certain letters (e,
h,n,t,o)the entries sometime skip to various places in
any document and insert the text at the new place until I
catch it. This occurs whether I am composing or editing.
Is anyone else having this problem?
It is real annoying!!!!!
I need some ideas on how to fix it.

this is usually due to brushing the touchpad which interprets it as a mouse
click. You should be able to change the sensitivity of the touchpad under
mouse or touchpad in the Control Panel.

It can also be due to local wireless interference from a telephone or radio
device, as I get this on keyboards without a touchpad.

Yep, my husband's ham radio (on a certain frequency band) used to drive me
crazy till he finally got the antenna properly shielded!
