Word unexpectedly quits whenever I right-click

Whenever I right-click in a document, Word quits and I get the error
dialog saying that the application Word has unexpectedly quit. When I
click to see the error report I see the following:


Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000014

Is there any solution to this problem? I thought I might have had
corrupt fonts and ran Fontbook and the Linotype Fontexplorer X
applications and cleaned out the font cache, but these steps did not
help.
