Word used for financial Formulas (formulae)

Is there a program, or add-in that allows financial formulas, (or is
it formulae) that include things like logs, powers, fractions, etc???

I need to use it in WORD

Word includes an Equation Editor that _may_ do the job for you or you may
want to invest in its "big brother", MathType:

Depending on your needs you might also consider doing the calcs in Excel,
then embedding/linking the work into your docs or embedding an Excel
workbook directly into the docs rather than creating the workbooks as
separate files.
