I've got a list of references which were copied and pasted from PubMed
then reformatted in word. However, throughout the formatting proces
and even now, when i click on, highlight, or even scroll past th
references, a safari window is spawned and it performs a new pubme
search for the author whose work is referenced. i've disabled as muc
of the hyperlinking capability as i can, they were only copied as tex
anyway. is there a way of getting rid of this unwanted interruptio
without taking the several pages of references through a simple tex
editor then re-reformatting them
