Word v X - Help file can't close

What is happening? When I search online Help in Word, the
Help"sheet" appears but there is no close box or ESC to
hide and return to my document. I have to quit Word to hide
the Help and then reopen my document to keep working. Mac X
- Service Release 1.

Is the top of the help window jammed under the menu bar?
I too went for months thinking it was designed with no close button!

I dug it out by changing the monitor resolution to something little.
800*600. When the screen redrew, the help window was out from under the
menu bar. I moved it a bit further away, and put the resolution back
where it belongs.

And there was the help close button!
