Word Viewer 2003

I was sent a Word doc and I opened it in Word Viewer 2003 SP3 so I could
print it.
Problem is it will not print or view it correctly. It seems to have an issue
with the styles used in the document that uses Times New Roman either
itialics or bold. It will not print it correctly, but I can copy the text and
paste it into Wordpad and everything is correct. Why?
