Word Virus

When I create a new document in Word and then try to attach it in an email, it won't attach because it says, "Virus threat detected. The virus could not be cleaned. Please run the virus scan on your machine."

How do I run the virus scan on my machine and/or how do I fix this? I've tried emailing in several different email programs so I know it's not just yahoo.

Macs don't come with a "virus scan". If you are concerned about a virus
you'll need to obtain an anti-virus program which will provide the
instructions on how to use it. There are several available for a price but
there are also some fine ones available as shareware/freeware.

Try Google or do a search on VersionTracker:
