WORD vs. WORDPERFECT

I currently use WordPerfect QuatroPro for my spreadsheets. Alot of
spreadsheets fro online jobs are done in Excel. Can I use my QP when a job
requirement lists Excel? I can't afford to by the Word Program and I am
comfortable with QP. By the way, back when I first learned on computers I
was trained on Word and Excel.

You would do better to ask this in a group dedicated to QuatroPro, or maybe
Excel. This group is for discussions about Microsoft Access, a relational
database program.

You could probably find a cheap copy of excel on Ebay, especially if you're
willing to settle for a slightly older version.

I've never worked for or consulted for any business that has used QP. The
business world uses Office. If you're going to be working on a job involving
spreadsheets it only makes sense to bite the bullet and buy the industry
standard.

Look at it from the employers perspective, if there are 2 similarly
qualified candidates one is willing to do it with the software we use and one
isn't.. the person using our software is getting the job. Period.
