Word wants to convert JPEG

Brenda from Michigan

User has Word 2002. When she tries to Insert | Picture from File and
selects a JPEG, she gets a 'Convert File' dialog listing graphic formats
followed by 'An error occurred while importing this file.' She is not able
to insert any JPEG graphic no matter which format she selects in the 'Convert
File' dialog. Is she missing some graphic filters in her install of Word or
is there something else happening?

Hi Brenda,

If it's Word 200 or later, have you tried running 'Detect & Repair' from the Help menu?
