Word won't open up a report to edit I was working on before. Got .

I cannot open up a term paper due on this Thursday that I need to work on
tonight- thursday which I already stated. It's Word XP. I upgraded Norton
last night and shut it off to no avail. Something about global normal.dot.
Please help!!!!!

I've done a repair of word to no avail, I'm freaking out on this one!

Hi, Lawrence.

For starters, disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton
AntiVirus. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office
programs with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in" for more info.

If you still have problems, write back with the exact error message(s)
