word won't open

Have a frustrating problem. Double-click on Word 2000 or
Word document and the computer freezes (just get the hour
glass icon), cannot quit program get a error box that
says computer dangerously low on resources. Check
available resources and shoe 3 green bars on resource
monitor ,also hae only used 1/3 of hard drive. Have run
Symantec and Norton with no viruses found. Tries to
repai Word and then completely reloaded Word and the same
thing still occurs. Every other Office application
functions normally. Anyone have any additional ideas?

NAV!!! First, open NAV and disable the Office Plug-in option. Does that
resolve the problem? If not, see
