can start Word with a switch to at least use the program.
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office" /a
However, this disables a bunch of stuff includin your
toolbar modifications and makes Word think that you're
using it for the first time. I think the problem occurred
once when Word crashed trying to write to normal.dot.
I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, messing with registry
and nothting yet. I'm running XP and Word 2000.
