Word wont open

I have uninstalled Office 2000 and reinstalled it and
still can't get Word to open, it locks up and no errors
come up. When I do alt ctrl del it comes up with the
error "System is running dangerously low on memory, do you
want to cancel, stop etc... I click Yes and it locks the
entire computer up??? Running on a gateway, Celeron.

Robert,

Read my reply to Devin about ten miutes ago. I had the
identical problem and what I wrote solved it. Good luck
