I am beginning to wonder if it is WindowsInstaller which
is causing this to happen to Word. Before I downloaded
WinInstaller, this problem didn't seem as bad, along with
all the others I now have since downloading so-
called "fixes" and "patches" from Windows and Office
sites, in hopes of speeding up this terribly slow system
which has always had HANGING problems from day one.
(I have a desktop HP with Win98sePlus, Office2000
(I think) and my installation CDs are from my other broken
computer, I think, so am not sure if I can insert them in
this one, which is an OEM, difficult to get OS discs
for)....
