Word won't open

Suzanne

When trying to open Word, it does one of 3 things;

1. It stalls out and never goes past the opening page
causing me to have to restart the computer.

2. It stalls out and goes into "illegal operation" mode
causing me to have to restart the computer.

3. It stalls out and a message comes up saying "Resources
are low, would you like to delete the following
applications..." but I can't hit yes or no...I then have to
again, restart the computer.

I have deleted the Word program and reinstalled it, also,
to no avail.

Thanks!

Hi--I'm having the same problem with Word 2000. Let me
know if you find a solution and I'll do the same. I posted
several days ago but no one answered.

Thank you VERY much for the link! I had to rename the
"Normal" file and now it works. You've been a great help,
thanks again! :)
