Word won't save on first load

I am using Word XP (2002) - if I have Outlook open as well - if I try to
save a document - Word just shuts down without saving. If I reopen WORD
then the second time around I can save the document.

If I don't have Outlook open then this problem goes away. I also have the
problem if Outlook uses word format for mail format.

I cann't find any answer to this post, but I have exactly the same problem,
and it occurs ONLY the FIRST time I try to "Save as..", not with "Save" nor
anything else.
In the Event Viewer (I don't know if this is the correct name, in Spanish
"Visor de sucesos"), I have, usually, event nr. 2001 (a few times 2000, also).
If I close Outlook, nothing happens.

I have Office 2002 (Spanish version) with XP Pro + Sp2

Any idea?

If you have Norton AntiVirus installed, disable its Office Plug-in.
