I just upgraded to a new MacBook Pro and performed a migration from my old MacBook Pro to the new one. Now when I try to save Word files to the firewire drive I get a message telling me to free up memory or the drive is write protected or full. I have 4 gigs of RAM, and the drive has all kinds of space. Excel saves just fine so it seems to be a Word issue. I did a repair permissions, etc. Word save to USB Thumb disks and the hard drive just fine.
Any ideas??
James
