Word Work files

Hi there,

Word Work files are appearig in the same directory as the file I am
writing and updating in word. Is there a way to direct these files to
a temp directory or something so they stop appearing in the directory?

Cheers,

Noah

Sorry, no. Word has to create them in the same folder (this is why you
should never edit a doc on a tiny floppy disk, and maybe not a flash drive).
Those are helping, among other things, to give you the ability to Undo back
to when you opened the doc.

Normally, however, you should only see them when you are in the middle of
editing the document. Once you close the document, they should all vanish.
