Word X, 2004 shrink fonts in PostScript

When I generate PDFs from Word X or 2004 in 11 point type for instance,
the resulting PS and PDF files come up 10.8 point. Not a problem with
same documents generated from Word 5.1 or 2001 through Classic. Any way
to guarantee faithful font sizes?
