Word X error message and quits when I try to launch

When I try to launch Word X either from the dock or by way of an email
attchment the Word logo screen comes up and then a second later the
error message The Application Word unexpectedly quit. I have recently
run repair permissions as my ibook has been running very slow in Word
and Entourage. Any advice please - this is urgent. I am not very
computer literate so please use lay terminology in your response. Many

Your problem could be caused by a corrupted Normal template.
Into your Microsoft Office X folder there is a folder named Templates.
In there there is a file named Normal. Move the Normal to the desktop
and relaunch Word. Word will recreate a new Normal for you. If it works
fine now, than it's a corrupted Normal problem. You will lose all
customized toolbars.

BTW, I really need a corrupted Normal to try some troubleshooting
steps. So, if it is corrupted, could you email the file to me? Thanks.
