Word X unexpectedly crashing at startup

Whenever I try to start Word, it 'encounters a problem and needs to close',
and gives me a message telling me to send an error report to Microsoft.

I'm fairly sure that the problem has something to do with corrupted fonts
(I've checked for duplicates already), but I'm not sure how to resolve this. I'm
at the point where every font in FontBook is disabled except for Geneva
(regular) and Lucida Grande (reg and bold), but Word still won't start.

I've read the instructions on how to check which fonts are corrupted, but I
don't know how to 'Restart my computer from the Macintosh OS v. X
volume.'...

As well, I'm fairly sure the corrupted fonts (I'm positive that there's more
than one) are fonts that I have recently installed, and it doesn't appear that
they are in 'System Folder/Fonts', or 'System/Library/Fonts' (though I think
some of the ones in there aren't in FontBook...) or 'Library/Fonts', just in
'Users/admin/Library/Fonts'

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, I restarted and now Word is working...
So never mind I suppose (unless something else goes wrong)
