I have a Word XP document that is only around 1.5MB. There are 293
pages, but there is mainly only text and horizontal lines. It's my
journal. Lately I've noticed that when I'm typing in the document,
the CPU will shoot up to 100%. When I stop typing, it will drop back
down. I'm up to date on my service packs for Office XP, for Windows
XP Home (have SP1 but am not goint to move to SP2 yet), and have an
Athlon 1GHz with 512MB of memory. I couldn't find anything on the
Microsoft site about this and I know that the file size is the main
concern in the matter, but I'm nowhere near the 32MB limit. Is there
something else I should look into? The document is by no means
complex. Thanks for your help.
