I have trouble with Word XP (SP3) (on Windows XP SP2) crashing when a
document is already open and I try to close Word -
Application always crashes with the following details:
Faulting application winword.exe, version 10.0.6818.0, faulting module
mso.dll, version 10.0.6817.0, fault address 0x0000300d.
Fault address is always the same (even after reboots, etc).
The crashes only happen on a limited account - Accounts with Administrative
privileges have no problems. Also the crash does not happen when a blank
document is already open in Word.
I have read about other people having trouble with Word crashing on limited
accounts, but no-one has specified which files/folders should be given full
access.
As it stands, Domain Users have read rights to files on C:
I have tried giving Domain Users full rights (+Modify, +Write) to the
Microsoft Office folder (and subfolders), and the whole of Windows
directory, but that did not make any difference.
Any ideas??
Thanks
