Word Xp docs in Word 2000

Hi!
Every time I try to open in Word 2000 a document that was created in Word
XP, Word generates an application error.
Any suggestions?

moving the documents from WordXP to Word 2000?

Yes, I am able to work with all the document that I created in Word 2000. I
didn'tdo anything special to the WordXP docs. I just tried to open them and
bum! I got the error.
