Word XP Error Saving Document

I have a user on a Windows XP box using Office XP.
Whenever she saves a document she receives an error
stating that file contains repairs made to it by word.
Saving the file make these repairs permanent.

Running Detect and Repair does nothing. She has all
updates.

It is removing all headers and footers.

Any Help would be really appreciated.

Hi, Maryann. The problem could be caused by a minor corruption in the normal.dot template. Close Word, rename normal.dot, then start Word again. Word will create a new normal.dot automatically. If this fixes the problem, you can copy your customizations from the old normal.dot to the new one.
