Hello.
Our customers have a problem when they run a macro in WordXP, the macro is
built in Word 2000.
The problem occur when the vba code opens a data-source (textfile) into a
document. Instead of our Swedish characters å,ä,ö WordXP displays boxes.
When i run word manually in the same way as the vba code then i can see in
the dialog when i select the data source that i also have to select language
through a combobox (new in WordXP?). The language that is displayed in the
combobox is Japanese! If i instead of Japanese choose Swedish then the
document opens in the right way and i got our special Swedish characters
right.
The vba code is built in Word2000 and i havent seen the language combobox in
that version of Word.
My question is:
Is there any place in WordXP that our customer can select Swedish as their
default language?
Or
do we have to ship some special macro to the customers who are running
WordXP instead of Word2000?
Please also reply to my mailadress.
Thanks in advance
