Word XP on Win XP crash on Save

I have Office XP SMB on Windows XP sp2 with all the
updates installed for each product. When I typr into a
new or existing document and click save Word closes with
no error message, completely shuts down. I went through
the steps of renaming the normal.dot template and
deleting some registry keys and had no luck. Major
problem any suggestions would be great.

Subject lines of "PLEASE HELP" or "THIRD POST PLEASE HELP" are particularly
unhelpful and make a response _less_ likely than a descriptive subject like
the one you used in this post. Have you looked at

Have you applied SP-1 and SP-2 to your Office installation?
