In Word XP, click a bullet to begin a paragraph, and instead of a dot, I god
a "?", why?

With that ? bullet on your screen, go to Format, Bullets &
Numbering and see what bullet it might be attempting to
insert. You can choose which one you want or you can
click customize to get a different one.
