Running windows XP Pro, had MS office 2000 SBE installed, opening word
receive winword.exe error, then wants to send to microsoft. ran a repair,
unistalled and reinstalled word, uninstalled MS Office 2000, installed MS
Office XP, receive the same message, only you can open in word safe mode,
also receive configset error, any suggestions

The usual causes are:

1. Misbehaving add-in.

2. Corrupted Normal.dotm.

3. Corrupted registry entry (usually the Data key).
