I sent this message Wednesday (8/6) but do not see it on my screen so
forgive me if I send it again:

I'm using Windows XP and Word 2002 on this laptop. Word takes several
seconds to open
whereas on my desktop using Win 98SE, Word (97SE) opens instantly. Why is
that and
how can I hasten the opening of Word on this machine?
