i just purchased a notebook with office 2003, my desktop
has word 2000, if i use office 2003 on a project will i
still be able to use it on my word 2000 and visa versa
waiting to hear

You should not run into problems moving documents back and forth between the
two versions. The printed output, particularly pagination, may vary
slightly however due to differing printers/printer drivers.
