Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I am using an invoice template originally used for word2004 in '08. When I type within a table I can't get more than one line of text even though there is room for several. When the line is full the older text vanishes although it comes up when printing. Why can't I simply press return and start a new line of text?

You need to start a new thread if you want a good reply; your problem has
nothing to do with the original poster's. And if you pick a more
intelligent set of words than the OP, which actually describe your question,
you are even more likely to attract an expert answerer.

(I'm not using Word 2008, so I'll pass.)

Sorry: in my haste I omitted the words "for the subject"; I should have said
"if you pick a more intelligent set of words for the subject than the OP".
(I mentioned this because some experts only answer posts that relate to
their area of expertise; "word" isn't very explicit ;-)
