Word03 Highlight with Insert Comment

In Word 2003, when I insert a comment within two spaces of a word, the word
is highlighted. I don't want any words highlighted, only a line to the
insertion point. I'm sure it's an option box to be checked or unchecked, but
I've been unable to find it. Any clues how I can eliminate the word
highlighting with comment insert?

Carol, thanks for the quick reply. I have looked at the Track Changes
options, but the only option I see about comments is to select the color by
author. Don't see any selections about highlighting text. The only other
comment-related options are about the comment balloon in the margin. What am
I looking for specifically in this dialog that will eliminate the text
highlight by the insertion point?

In Word 2002, it was possible to insert a comment at a specific point
(without selecting text), but users complained that, without popups (which
have also been restored in Word 2003), it was hard to see where the comments
were. So Word 2003 restored highlighting and applies it automatically. If
you select a single space between words, this will be highlighted and not
either of the adjacent words.
