Word2002 for Win templates to Mac Word X maybe?

Merrin

Your useful q&a already helpful.
As a mother flattered to help my son's business, I want
to create stationery templates in Word 2000 for WindowsXP
that he can use on his Mac, (Word X for Mac - Service
Release 1). Later he will convert his documents to pdf to
send to clients electronically. (I reluctantly gave up
the Mac years ago because of compatibility problems with
colleagues and expensive software eg. for early email
ISPs, but I do miss it.) Can I access a Mac Word help
file on-line, if so please let me know URL.
Any pointers to advice elsewhere most welcome thanks,
cheersfrom Merrin

Hi Merrin,

You shouldn't have problems. Just create your templates in WinWord and send
them to your son. The file format (.dot and .doc) is completely
compatible, and while Word X might not have some features that Word 2003
does, I think it should have the Word 2000 features.
